Position responsible for assisting in the monitoring, analysis, and enhancement of the organization's security posture. This role in Cyber Defense Center plays a vital part in safeguarding the company's information systems and data from cybersecurity threats. The position is hybrid in Mexico State (Tlalnepantla de Baz), with a 1x per week in office schedule with an initial training period of 3x per week in office.
  • Incident response and monitoring security alerts using SIEM tools
  • Hybrid position in Mexico City (1x week in office)

Descripción

  • Assist in monitoring security alerts and events using security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection systems, and other monitoring platforms.
  • Triage of security events (end-to-end)
  • Support the local security management and service owners in case of IT security incidents (incident response)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to ensure security measures are integrated into the organization's technology infrastructure.
  • Create custom rules/rule modifications and custom reports/ report modifications as needed.
  • Create custom documentation for internal and external needs.
  • Monitor and run vulnerability scans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering or related field of study.
  • Advanced english level
  • Minimum 2-4 years Managed Security Services or Information Security experience required.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring tools and SIEM systems.
  • Basic knowledge of network and system administration concepts, cloud fundamentals.
  • Understanding of Vulnerability Management tools - Qualys , Nessus etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong Analytical thinking
  • Open to hybrid role in Tlalnepantla de Baz (1x per week in office with an initial training period of 3x per week in office)
