Descripción

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for all types of concrete work, including foundations, slabs, walls, structural elements, and specialty concrete.
  • Perform digital quantity takeoffs and review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to define project scope and requirements.
  • Develop concrete pricing based on material quantities, crew productivity rates, labor factors, and supplier/subcontractor quotes.
  • Solicit, analyze, and compare concrete subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure complete scope coverage and pricing accuracy.
  • Support bid strategies, conceptual budgets, and value engineering focused on concrete systems and constructability.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and design or scope optimizations related to concrete work.
  • Maintain organized estimating data, historical concrete costs, and production rates for future benchmarking.
  • Assist in mentoring other estimators and supporting smooth transitions between estimating and project execution phases.

  • A strong background in construction cost estimation within the concrete industry.
  • Proficiency in analyzing construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with cost estimation tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills for managing project budgets.
  • A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting estimates to stakeholders.
  • Advanced English
