Manufacturing Engineer

The main responsibilities are to:

• Lead manufacturing process set up and optimization at contract manufacturers and upstream custom parts suppliers within Mexico.
• Perform product BOM manufacturing structure review
• Align with engineering for drawing version control and manufacturer considerations
• Lead assembly jigs, fixtures, and machinery design, qualification, and optimization
• Responsible for mold review and final part confirmation at Company's molding factories
• Analyze product function/assembly issues with test engineering for resolutions
• Coordinate between Company engineering and manufacturers to solve technical problems in product manufacturing and assembly
• Cooperate with Company engineering to develop and participate in the feasibility analysis of new products design verification
• Responsible for new product process architecture
• Verify product mechanical testers (i.e. leakage tester) and set the limit parameters
• Lead laser marking parameter setting and packaging information release
• Lead manufacturing inputs for product DFx verification and FMEAs
• Plan, schedule, and manage process improvement projects to align with Forecast
• Identify potential process risks to product quality, delivery, and cost
• Travel to regional suppliers when necessary
• Perform other job-related duties as required
