We are looking for a Network Specialist with a CCNA certification to manage and enhance our global network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring network security, performance, and availability, both on-site and remotely. You will collaborate with a global team, troubleshoot network issues, and support projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, be fluent in English and Spanish, and possess technical and problem-solving skills.

Descripción

  • Collaborating within a global network team, fulfilling both on-site and remote global responsibilities
  • Ensuring active network operation (on-call duty) and ensuring high availability (switching, routing, WLAN, security, cloud)
  • Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor network performance and availability to proactively identify and resolve issues, including monitoring and baselining of the network status.
  • Respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide network expertise for projects and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Participation in a rotational on-call service
  • Planning, design and implementation of voice and data communication networks complex network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Development and implementation of processes to ensure the conformity of the network configuration.
  • Evaluating, testing, planning, and operating new network technologies and integrating them into the existing infrastructure

Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)

Must Have

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science / communications engineering or comparable
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in network operations, demonstrating excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytic skills
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, security, SD-WAN, VoIP, QoS
  • Advanced knowledge in the field of network analysis and troubleshooting (baselining, monitoring, protocol analysis, network security 802.1X, NAC, micro segmentation)
  • CCNA certification



Nice to have

  • Experience with network virtualization, software-defined networking (SDN), and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, SAP, and Linux systems.
  • Ability to effectively work on a global team with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds and time zones.
  • Desirable programming knowledge (e.g. DevNet, Python, Ansible, Terraform)
