Purchasing Jr Manager

The Jr Purchasing Manager will assist in managing procurement processes, sourcing materials, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, prices, and delivery times.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely restocking.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their material and service requirements.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
• Track and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, delivery performance, and supplier reliability.
• Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality discrepancies.
• Support the Purchasing Manager in supplier audits and performance evaluations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
