Supplier Quality Engineer

The main responsibilities are to:

• Ensure that contract manufacturer defines Receiving Inspection requirements as necessary and confirm associated test methods.
• Work with contract manufacturer to investigate nonconformance root causes and manage the supplier corrective and preventive actions.
• Support contract manufacturer and local custom parts suppliers to complete PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and review the accuracy of the PPAP.
• Review Company's products' OBA at the contract manufacturer and drive them to follow Company's OBA procedure for all shipped products.
• Support contract manufacturer quality reporting, questions, and communications.
• Drive the products' ongoing reliability test and coordinate the tests with the cross-functional teams included Company's internal team and contract manufacturer's team. Hold the contract manufacturer accountable to performing relevant failure analysis.
• Review and approve contract manufacturer shipment lots when necessary, including potential quality audits of the lot.
• Audit contract manufacturer and local suppliers' quality control systems and processes to propose areas for improvement.
