Responsible for creating detailed documentation for the company's products, including installation guides, user manuals, and other technical materials. This role requires proficiency in XML/DITA authoring tools and a solid understanding of technical writing principles. You will collaborate with various teams to manage project timelines and ensure the delivery of high-quality documents.

Descripción

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author technical documentation using XML/DITA.
  • Develop and manage content for product installation, user guides, and technical manuals.
  • Collaborate with illustration and editing teams to produce clear and concise documents.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate efforts across teams.
  • Ensure all documents meet style guidelines and standards.
  • Utilize tools such as InDesign, CAD, Pro/E, Creo, Adobe Illustrator, and Arbortext IsoDraw.

Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)

Candidate Profile:

  • 2 years of technical writing experience for products or software.
  • At least 2 years of experience in plumbing product installation, design, or related technical/manufacturing fields.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency in XML/DITA and related authoring tools.
  • Familiarity with InDesign and experience with illustration tools (CAD, Pro/E, Creo, Adobe Illustrator, Arbortext IsoDraw).
  • Proficient in using databases and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Experience with Astoria CMS, Oxygen, Windchill, MS Project Online, MS Teams, and Office is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management skills to handle own project timelines and coordination.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
